Transition
As the 2024 season comes to a close, I’m reaching out to share some important updates regarding World Farmers. Like many things in our lives that evolve, so has the leadership of our organization. We bid farewell to our Executive Director, Henrietta Isaboke, who officially departed on November 8th. We are deeply grateful for her contributions over the past three years and wish her success in her future endeavors.
In the interim, I have stepped in as acting Executive Director, effective immediately. During this time, I will work closely with our Board of Directors as we prepare to initiate a search for our next Executive Director.
World Farmers remains steadfast in our mission to support beginning immigrant and refugee farmers as they establish independent farming businesses, access land, and navigate the mainstream agricultural system. We will continue to strengthen our partnerships with funders, markets, and other key stakeholders as we explore new opportunities to support you in your journey.
